Over the Summer in August I traveled over to the United States to visit family in Florida and also took the opportunity to visit New York to see the city, as it has always been a dream to do so.
I stayed in Chelsea, mid town which was central to many of the great buildings in New York. I saw famous skyscrapers such as the empire state building and discovered a very good vegan food stall in one of the food malls, there was a variety of different cuisines there, as well, which cater for everyone.
I also had the opportunity to see the trade event called NY Now at the Javit center. There were many fabulous exhibits such as the British pavilion.
One of my favorite places in the big apple was Soho. There are some lovely shops there, with cutting edge fashion and in terms of cafes, the Crosby St Hotel is a lovely place for a relaxing break.
Another highlight of my visit to New York was seeing Times Square, it really was a attraction worth visiting, with lots of colour, noise and energy.
